Ainoy & Daniel – Wedding
After their earlier ceremony, Ainoy and Daniel had their wedding at the Science Museum of Virginia. It was definitely a bit worrisome with Hanna, but by the time their ceremony began, the weather had cleared. It was truly a pleasure to have worked with Daniel and Ainoy…they are both so awesome and even though Ainoy is a UVA grad, I am especially glad that she chose to work with a Hokie.
I wanted to share some of my favorites from the day, and I have to say that I loved the details that were planned for their day. Pauline at Elations worked her magic for this wedding! An excellent wedding coordinator definitely makes a difference!
This wedding had a really cool East meets West vibe:

Congratulations Daniel and Ainoy! I wish you many many happy years together.

What a wonderful wedding. I love the colors of the dresses and the umbrella details. I love that capture of the look that the mother and daughter exchanged. I’m also really diggin the lime light that was at the reception how fun. You are breaking into the high end weddings great work Vera!

Thanks to David (above) for the kind words.
Vera, I’m really amazed at how things fell into place. Having been engaged for over two years, I did not initially dive into any of the details (nada, zippo) until May of this year given everything else I had on my plate. To be perfectly honest, I was apprehensive and ambivalent at times about the whole wedding planning process, but was surprised at how things worked itself out.
You know first hand my ability to leave decisions open to the very last minute!
My best friends and I (including my best friend’s fiance) wrapped up the bamboo favors over cocktails just two days before the wedding…Pauline can testify just how many things were decided at the very last minute, but look how wonderful things can turn out if you just trust yourself, and our awesome photographer.
Looking back in retrospect, the experience was One Big adventure- all the way up to the wedding ceremony itself.
We appreciate your uncanny eye to deliver meaningful and memorable pictures that truly speak to us as a whole.
I couldn’t have been more pleased to share this experience with you and my friends and family.

Vera and Brian,
As you probably know from Ainoy, myself and from our engagement session that we appreciate how you captured our personality and life in motion- our wedding day was no exception.
We especially like the angled image of the ceremony in the atrium.
You guys arrived promptly, remained unobtrusive, stayed super professional (despite our crazy ceremony delay) and delivered quality results- all within a crazy turn around.
We would gladly recommend you to anyone.

Vera & Brian -
I must say I’m incredibly impressed by your work! I was stunned by the pictures from Ainoy and Daniel’s Engagement session but the photos you’ve posted from the blessing ceremony to the reception itself blew me away!
Growing up Ainoy and I had very similar envisions of what our wedding would be and the memories we wanted from our “Big Day” to be like and you’ve done that for her!
Hopefully when it’s my “Big Day” you’ll be there to makes the same precious memories that you’ve made for my cousin and her husband!
